TERMS & CONDITIONS

PERU TRIP ADVISORS - ROUTES OF SOUTH AMERICA

PROGRAMS AND SERVICES PRICES:

• Rates only apply for touristic trips, not business related trips, events, congresses or any type of commercial activity.

• Rates are quoted in US Dollar per person and include or exclude all taxes applied for non-residents.

• Before your deposit, rates are subject to change without prior notice and will be confirmed at reservation time.

• Hotel accommodation quoted in standard room unless specified otherwise.

• All routes are subject to change without notice due to unexpected circumstances or weather conditions.

• There is no travel insurance included in the program.

• No shows will lead to the payment of the local tax of 19% + overnight stays.

• Transfers and excursions rates DO NOT include tips, optional excursions, meals and any other cost unless they are mentioned in the itinerary.

• Prices for groups over 15 passengers are subject to discounts. Please ask our reservation agent at or contact info@peru-tripadvisors.com

RESERVATIONS, PAYMENTS AND DEPOSITS:

• To confirm your reservations, we must have received the guarantee deposit.

• All payments or deposits should be done by credit card on our secure online platform (Visa, American Express, Master Card, Discovery) or doing an international wire to our bank account.

TOUR RESERVATIONS

• The confirmation will only proceed after we receive the guarantee deposit.

• The guarantee deposit is a payment in advance of 50% of the total cost of the trip.

• The total payment of the packages / tour must be done 30 days prior of the beginning date of the travel program. Alternatively, a different term will be set when agreed in advance with your travel advisor.

• Parts of the program / tour not used by passenger due its own decision will not be refunded if the program / tour is going on.

PENALTIES:

• Every cancellation made by the passenger before 60 days prior the beginning date of the tour, must be subject to a penalty of US$ 200 per person plus the full cost of the domestic air tickets and international air tickets included in your program and issued by us. Additionally, other cancelation fees might be applied by 3rd part providers.

• Every cancellation made by the passenger within 59 and 31 days prior the beginning date of tour, must be subject to a penalty of 50% of the program price plus the full cost of the domestic air tickets and international air tickets included in your program and issued by us. Additionally, other cancelation fees might be applied by 3rd part providers.

• Every cancellation made by the passenger between 29 days or less prior the beginning date of the tour will be subject to a penalty of 100% of the program price. Customer will accept credit card debiting or other payment method.

• Reservations for Inca Trail program are not refundable, not changeable in any case.

• Changes of date, flight or route for domestic flights are possible as long as there is availability in the new requested date/flight and it’s subject to penalties and airfare differences applied by the airline.

GALAPAGOS:

• Cancellations are subject to the local provider’s penalties.

NOTE: Peru Trip Advisors / Routes of South America will always intercede on your favor with thirds part providers (hotels, local tour operators, Amazon lodges, etc). In case providers accept not to apply cancelation fees, then we will reimburse those portions of the trip.

POSTPONEMENTS - CANCELLATIONS DUE COVID-19

• Trips with departure dates before December 1st 2020 can be postponed up to 15 days prior with zero change fees.

• This postponement policy applies to all new bookings beginning May 1st, 2020.

• International and domestic airfare is not applicable to the postponement terms. Peru Trip Advisors / Routes of South America will use the airline’s postponement and cancellation policies. In most cases, a $20 change fee and difference in airfare applies.

• A small number of hotels and cruises have different postponement terms. Your travel advisor will make you aware of these exceptions at the time of booking. These will be reviewed case by case and negotiated with the hotel/cruise.

• The above terms are valid for postponements only. For cancellations, standard cancellation policy applies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Peru Trip Advisors SAC / Routes of South America and its local operators are intermediaries between customers and entities promoting services mentioned in the programs, such as Transportation Company, hotels, restaurants, etc.

However, we are not liable for any damages, wounds, lost items, robberies, accidents, delays or irregularities that could happen because of any person or company responsible for the service delivery to the customer.

Peru Trip Advisors SAC / Routes of South America and its local operators will not accept the responsibility of a lost item or extra costs due to delays or change of flights, or any other event, sickness, strike, protests or causes beyond our control. However, we will assist you until problem is solved and provide you alternative arrangements as long as your itinerary allows it.

Peru Trip Advisors SAC / Routes of South America and its local operators reserves the right to cancel or modify the duration of the tours for reasons of force majeure.

Tours and routes are subject to change without prior notice.

Once the program has started, there is no refund possible if a customer decides not to participate in a scheduled excursion or meal already contracted

The customer accepts all the mentioned conditions.

OBLIGATIONS:

• Obligation of services non-given due negligence from Peru Trip Advisors SAC / Routes of South America or our personnel, will be limited to the real cost of the omitted services and excludes all consequences or indirect costs.

• In that eventual case, Peru Trip Advisors SAC / Routes of South America will make its best effort to bring arrangements of similar value, subject to availability.

EXECUTION OF REIMBURSEMENT OF THE PACKAGES, TOURS, ACCOMMODATIONS OR TRANSPORT TICKETS:

• Refunds for cancelations requested by passengers will be processed within 30 working days after received the passenger claim. The refund will be subject to the penalties in each case.

• No claims will be considered if made later than 60 days after termination of the tour.
