Good morning Marita,

Thank you Marita for arranging our wonderful trip to Peru.  One thing I really appreciated was your continued follow-up throughout the years. I wanted to go to Peru since 2012!  And we finally made it in April 2016.  Waiting was great because my wife’s brother and his wife were able to join us.
The itinerary you put together for us was perfect as my wife was very concerned about getting altitude sick.  Going directly to Aguas Calientes after landing in Cusco gave us time to acclimate to the altitude. The hotel you reserved for us in Aguas Calientes was amazing.  We enjoyed the breakfast as well as dinners there.  It was also really convenient to the train as well as the bus station up to Machu Picchu.

The spa resort in Sacred Valley was incredible!  We were upgraded to deluxe rooms and they were huge.  Again, breakfasts and dinners there were delicious.  The tour to Cusco was educational and great.  We got to enjoy authentic Peruvian music and performances the next day as there was a festival in the main square.  We also liked that there was a Starbucks in Cusco!

We were well taken care of by the drivers, guides, and you in Peru.  Your logistical planning (plane flights, trains, etc.) maximized our limited time in Peru.  There were some last minute changes with the airlines that you handled efficiently for us.  You had someone with us at all the airport connection points, pick-up locations, etc.  It made our trip stress free and relaxing!

I look forward to planning another trip with you to South America.  Thank you again for putting together a «trip» of a lifetime for us,

Dear Marita,

I was very happy with all of your arrangements.  Our tour of Quito was superb, our guide Guillermo was very knowledgeable.

In the islands the hotel, the tours, the boat rides, the bus tours were all great.

The day we walked to Tortuga Bay for swimming was quite a long walk for me.  I was very happy that our guide was able to secure for me a spot on the marine taxi back to my hotel.  Then I was able to do the afternoon excursion to the ranch and the tunnel.

Thank you for your hard work.  I will certainly recommend Peru Trip Advisors to friends.

I want you to know how much I enjoyed my trip to Peru.  I have been bragging to all that will listen how wonderful my trip was.  Everyone was amazed and impressed at how much I saw and did and that I did safely on my own.

Hola Susana,

First, you have a most beautiful country and we enjoyed your trip planning very much. It was great that we came on a holiday (Independence Day) and even saw fireworks after our arrival in Cusco! We heard about your new president and learned so many details about current and ancient events.

All the guides were very knowledgeable and friendly, especially Julius (Cesar?) in Cusco and the lady guide at Machu Picchu. They gave us wonderful experiences, even when we got altitude sickness on our arrival in Cusco, Julius came to our room and in addition to the oxygen from the hotel gave us the original Quechuan healing. It all worked and we were well the next day. Please thank them.

We LOVED Machu Picchu and the tour was great. Unfortunately I was struck with vertigo before we left on the trip and was not able to hike up the steps but my granddaughter did and enjoyed it!

We also loved Maras & Moray and were fascinated by both the agricultural terraces and also by the salt ponds. I am still enjoying the delicious chocolates we got there! Old and new Cusco was also so interesting even though there was a 2 day strike (power and energy, I believe) and many more tours came together on that day because of the disruption.

It seemed miraculous that people showed up on our various arrivals, calling my name to pick us up and only once a driver was late because of the enormous crowds at the train station which was not his fault but due to the strike. But all went well and he was most gracious.

Thank you again for all your hard work. We were very happy with the trip.
